Refund and replacement policy

Once we receive your return or the seller notifies us of receipt of return, as the case may be, a refund is issued to the original payment method (in case of pre-paid transactions) or to your bank account

Kannada.com Refund Policy

At Kannada.com, we strive to ensure a trustworthy and satisfying shopping experience. Here is our refund policy:

 

General Refund Process:

Time-Frame: Please refer to the provided table for standard refund processing times. If this period has expired and you have not received your refund, contact your card issuer or bank for further information.

Mode of Refund: We do not offer refunds in cash. Refunds are primarily processed back to the original mode of payment. In exceptional circumstances, a paper cheque may be issued.

International Customers:

Customer Service: International customers should contact our Customer Service for refunds, which will be processed to the original payment method.

Seller-Fulfilled Orders:

Damaged/Defective Items: Sellers will refund if the item is irreparable or irreplaceable.

Refund Authorization: The seller must authorize any refunds. Kannada.com facilitates the refund once the seller confirms receipt of the returned item.

Refunds for Pay on Delivery Orders:

Refund Mode: Refunds will be processed to your bank account (via NEFT) or credited as Kannada.com Pay balance.

Bank Account Details: Update your bank account details in Your Account section or via the Returns Centre during the return process.

Free Replacement Eligibility:

Eligible Items: Fulfilled by Kannada.com items, Prime eligible items, and some Seller Fulfilled items are eligible for free replacements. Unavailable items cannot be replaced but are eligible for a refund.

Conditions for Free Replacement:

Eligibility: Free replacement for items within the return window and in stock (exact same item) with the same seller.

Conditions: Applicable if the item is damaged, has missing parts, differs from the description, or is defective.

Replacement Limitation: Items cannot be replaced more than once.

Non-Eligibility: If an item is ineligible for replacement, you may return it for a refund. If the item has missing parts or accessories, consider contacting the manufacturer for assistance.

Additional Notes:

Third-party Accounts: Refunds cannot be processed to third-party accounts. Ensure the name on your Kannada.com account matches the bank account holder’s name.

Seller-Fulfilled Replacements: If the item is “Seller-Fulfilled,” replacements depend on the item’s availability with the same seller. If unavailable, contact the seller for a refund.
